Who We Are:

We are an independent, advanced life support ambulance service that has been serving the Lake Champlain Islands community since 1973. As an advanced level ambulance service, we provide basic first aid, 12-lead ECG acquisition, CPR, defibrillation (AED), IV therapy, oxygen & respiratory assistance, and other advanced treatments. In order to respond to calls more quickly and efficiently, our first-responders often arrive at the scene to begin care before the ambulance arrives.

Our organization is operated by volunteers who are dedicated to maintaining the health and well being of our community, and continues to operate with the generous support of  the Town of South Hero and private donations. We provide basic and advanced life support and medical services to the Town of South Hero, as well as assist the rescue squads of the neighboring communities of Grand Isle and Milton. We also work closely with the South Hero Volunteer Fire Department, and respond alongside their calls.

We are always looking for new members!
